So you want to be a blonde?

The first question I will ask is what color is your hair now and what tone of blonde do you want to be?

There are many tones of blonde to choose from so its best to have a picture so that our Blonde Specialist can help you decide if that is the right blonde for you.  

 

Another question will be what previous color has been applied and how long ago.  Most don't understand that the previous color has to be factored in to achieve the new color.  This will help prevent your hair from having a very uneven result and from being overly dry which leads to unwanted breakage.

Keeping your Blonde hair beautiful takes time and money so be prepared to return to the salon every 4-6 weeks. The first appointment is usually the most expensive because your blonde specialist has to correct previous color in preparation for future blonding.  Its best to stay within 2-3 levels of your natural color, but if you want much lighter or close to platinum, frequent visits will be required.

 

Each Blonde is customized according to skin, eye tone,  hair condition, and your desired goal. 

Painting techniques such as Balayage are used for seamless sunkissed highlights, while Baby lights are for an overall bright blonde.  Platinum blonde can be achieved with foiling work or bleach and toning depending on the health of the hair.
